"As the temporary
guardian of the paintings that I create, I witness the always
joyful mystery of how the real owners appear." —Patricia
Walkar
Patricia's work has been purchased by collectors across the United
States and abroad. Currently, her work is featured at the Tyme
Gallery in Philadelphia, and the Solaris Gallery in Califon, New
Jersey. The work has been exhibited in prestigious juried shows,
such as the Perkins Center for the Arts Watercolor Show, and the
Robert Ransley Show. By invitation, Patricia's paintings
have been shown at significant art spaces such as the Art Institute
of Philadelphia, the Hopkins House, and the Smithville Mansion.
The paintings have received numerous awards for excellence and
creative achievement.

Although initially focused on traditional figure and portrait
drawings, Patricia became fascinated by the color and form in
Larry Goldsmith's watercolors. Subsequently, she began experimenting
with that medium. Now, as a contemporary abstract artist, Patricia
uses various media as she creates the paintings awaited by their
true owners.
