Painting
Wednesday Evenings, 7:30 - 9pm
Cost: $245/ 5 week course (Price includes $60 painting kit for students to take home after the course)

One of the oldest forms of communication, expressing one's individuality through pictures is one of the viable forms of creativity. Beginner painting is designed to take the student over a 4 - 5 week course where he or she will learn the fundamentals to painting. History; tools; mediums; and techniques are all focused in this course. Located at B.A.M.A. Galleries, 946 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, New jersey. Drawing from Life
Tuesday Evenings, 7:30 - 10pm
Cost: $10/class (Every 10 classes attended, the 11th is free.)

One of the most rewarding forms of expression, Drawing from Life (nude model) allows for a range of creative outlets. This class provides an all-nude model (either male or female) with the intent purpose to have the student render the body. Class begins with warm up short timed poses and works its way up to longer ones. Drawing from Life is a non-intensive class: students are free to come and go as they please and are encouraged assist those around themselves as much as possible. Students are also encouraged to use any medium they choose, ranging from graphite to charcoal to clay or paint. Located at B.A.M.A. Galleries, 946 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, New jersey. Silkpainting Workshops
Saturday/Sunday, 11-4pm
Cost: $150 — plus $25 materials fee
Learn to complete your own handpainted creation on silk; be it scarf,
pillow or wallpiece. Designer, instructor, and painter Sissi Siska will guide you with her 20+ years designing fabrics for Couture, Broadway and fine art. Dyes on silk create a brilliancy of color unsurpassed in any other medium. Students will learn basic outlining, watercolor blending, salt effects and more. No previous art experience necessary; just a love of color and adventure! Arts on the Hudson
Arts on the Hudson is a non-profit organization. It serves community of Jersey City and Hudson County by providing affordable Art after school program for gifted and talented children and adults in 4 locations in Jersey City. Summer classes offer Piano,Guitar, Keiboard and Voice with professional teachers in Boys & Girls Club of Hudson County — Jersey City location. Other classes offered starting from October 20th, 2004: Ballet, Painting and Drawing, 3D and Sculpture class for children 5 years old and older in Victory Hall, 186 Grand St, Jersey City, New Jersey. Stained Glass in C.A.S.E. Museum, 80 Grand St., Jersey City, and Painting and Drawing in any media in Studio of Grigory Gurevich, 282 Barrow St., Jersey City.
